Heads up! Ronnie is posting on facebook! For those of you that are his FB friend, you know that he posts approximately twice a year, and just recently announced that he is married to me. Not exactly current events! He is so happy here...I see his pride in our family, our committment to this trip, and our ability to navigate a foreign country after only three visits. Having a nomadic life, he doesn't necessarily feel Israeli, and nothing makes him feel more foreign than being here again. Other than his impeccable Hebrew, he is a stranger here as well, and he loves discovering it with us.
Ronnie is a champ as he is largely responsible for the kids once my work day begins. He is up to the challenge and gets them packed up, dressed, and out the door to continue their adventures until dinner time. I love hearing Cela's version of their outings, which ALWAYS include some sort of treat. After telling me the kids had pizza and ice cream for dinner, he accidentally mentioned that Sammy ate cheesecake for the first time. "Cheesecake?" I asked. "Where did cheesecake come into the picture?". With Aba, cheesecake can easily fit into the picture!!
